Shorts last!
We have purchased several suits from Lands End over the years. The color seems to last, they don't fall apart and I can hand them down to my next son - which is saying a lot for how my boys wear their suits. I will continue to buy these for my 3 boys!

Hate the velcro fly.
I bought these for my 6 year old son. When he took them off after a fit check, the tie came out and the velcro opened all the way down the fly. I had him try them on again with the same results. It was very frustrating and took considerable time for him to re-close them. I would not recommend these for little boys.

Great pattern but huge shorts
My son picked these out online when they went on sale & loved the fish pattern. The reviews did say they run large and boy they weren't kidding. There's no drawstring cord to tighten the waist. Also, even if we sized down, just the overall length was too long for him. I suppose some kids like that look but we don't. They look quite silly coming down below the knee and hitting at a weird place on the lower leg. Took them back to Sears with no problem. It's too bad we can't get that material and make normal swim trunks out of them!

Really cool, great quality
My 6 year old is happy with how 'cool' the swim shorts are and I'm happy w/ the quality. Been buying LE swimsuits for him for 3 years now - he outgrows them before even coming close to wearing them out.

No ties in waist
There were no actual ties in the waist and for tall, skinny boy these didn't work. They were very cute and liked the pattern, but sent them back.

Great Fit
Bought this suit for my 8 year old son who is of average size. Was worried there wasn't going to be elastic waist, but there was. Fits great in the waist and legs are of longer board short length. This will be great for summer beach days!
