My son didn't like the velcro fly
The shorts fit just fine, but when my son realized how stiff the velcro fly was, he wouldn't wear them. I know now that I have to buy him shorts that don't have that. Nothing against the shorts, really, its just my picky kid!

Fantastic boys bathing suit
Excellent quality fabric and well-made. The fit is a bit on the snug side - my son is rather lean and it just fit around his waist. If your boy has a bit of a belly, I would recommend ordering a size up. A great value.

Great shorts
I love that these come in slim. I think the only draw back for me is the velcro fly when I forget to fasten it before putting them in the laundry.

Just what we wanted
Fun pattern, solid construction, and a great fit. These seem like they will hold up well to an active summer of swimming fun, and maybe even beyond. My son likes the pattern and says they are comfortable, too. Just what we wanted!

great except for waist band
Lands End has great fabrics and colors. They seem to fade much less from repeated chlorine exposure than others. Oh how I wish someone would just get it right with the waistband though. First of all, there is NO need for the fake little ties at the waist. Skip the all show no go. In addition to the elastic, have a string that actually runs through the entire waist and ties in front (not against the body). I got two pairs of these. The blue leafy print has the annoying waistband. The red and white tiki print gets the waistband right.

Ready for the Beach
With our new beach board swim shorts and shirt to match, my nephew thinks he is ready for a cruise. He looks great and I think, likes to show off when he dives off the high board. The quality is the best and fits him just right. This is our 3rd set , so we are ready for all water sports.

Talk about big or your britches...
Be prepared and order these a bit smaller then you think. We ordered at 14, it fits like a 16+. I will order a Med (10-12) and cross my fingers. No drawstring leaves little adjustments- Land's End quality, nice material, good workmanship - very nice pattern. I hope our replacement order fits- because my son really likes the red crab pattern.
