Climbers™ are the go-to pants of boyhood, designed to handle the abuse your guy throws at them. That doesn't mean they're not comfortable, though. Garment washing means they're preshrunk and soft from the start. Plus, an elastic waist and built-in belt gives them a great fit every time they pull them on — no pinching, no sagging. (Tots sizes have a faux belt.) Open-bottom style. 100% cotton fabric in strong twill or ringspun denim. Machine wash. Imported.

Only pants my son will wear
I have an autistic 13 year old who is big for his age and absolutely hates jeans with buttons and zippers. Looked everywhere for jeans without these and just couldn't find them. Finally looked here and was so happy to find that Lands End had these and in husky sizes too! Bought two and my son now asks for these every school morning. Back for 3 more though have to wait until June as they are backordered. Not sure what I'm going to do when he outgrows these as we are on the biggest size that Land's End has. Would highly recommend these for kids with sensory issues.

Can't live without them!
These pants have been a staple for my three sons for a decade. They are rugged, the knees last and they are easy on/easy off. We have purchased them in husky, regular and slim and all were great. Denim and alternative cotton fabric were equally good but the denim is the toughest. We have also had one of the fleece lined pairs and they were very cosy and warm. Please keep making these.

clown pants
These pants look much better on the website than in real life. Let's get this straight, my son is not actually slim by medical standards, he's right smack at the 55th% weight for height; I know this as we just went for his physical the week I ordered these. Nevertheless I ordered the slim for him, knowing LE pants run large in the derriere for adults. Even the slim are too baggy for my average weight kid! My babysitter confirmed they look "like old grandpa pants." Even for a 9 yo it's just too ridiculous looking.
So I am returning them and buying the slim cut 5pocket jeans.
I love LE quality and was excited about the climber reinforced knees but alas, it was not to be.
