Description

Record-breaking cold-weather gear.

  • Acrylic shell
  • Polyester fleece lining
  • Braided tassels for fun
  • Hand wash cold
  • Imported
  • Not intended for children unger age of six

Inspired by the foul-weather gear Lands’ End founder Gary Comer wore on his record-holding trek through the Arctic’s Northwest Passage, we built an outerwear collection that combines tough-to-the-finish construction with vintage style notes (an homage to the man who began “Guaranteed. Period.®”). In our quest to build everyday outerwear that can stand up to Arctic conditions, we honed in on the details like hefty fleece lining and ear-covering flaps so kids keep warm, even if it’s not 40 below.

Boys' Northwest Passage Peruvian Hat 2 5 1 1
Seems warm, stayed on, but tassels are unraveling I just received this hat a few days ago. I love the ear flaps, the style, that my 3 year old is actually wearing it, and that it stays on his head. However, after just 2 days of normal wear, the tassels on the ear flaps are unraveling. They were braided and held together with a short thread that seemingly wasn't secured in any way. Not detrimental to the function of that hat, but annoying, nonetheless, especially since the price of this hat was a little higher than I wanted to spend. Disappointed. November 16, 2012
