Awesome pants!
Bought these LAST year for my fifth-grader as uniform pants. Into the second year, after many washes, and they still look fantastic.. The elastic in the waist makes for a very comfortable fit. I love getting to order the inseam I need. Buy them, you will not regret it! Purchasing more now for my first-grader.

Perfect Uniform Pants
These are the best uniform pants I have ever found for my son. Unlike most pants, these have an elastic waist and none of those terrible "button and elastic tabs" to cinch the waist smaller like almost every other pair of pants out there. My son, who has a narrow waist, would always have the button marks imprinted on his sides from those. Before I washed these a couple of times, he did have to wear a belt with them. But, now they are well worn and have shrunk slightly, no belt is needed. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the fact that you get to specify your own hem length worked perfectly for him. I started with 2 pair at the beginning of the school year, and now he has 5 pair of these. I am actually going to order them in navy for him, as they make great casual dress pants for church as well.

these pants are great
I have been buying these pants in the husky size for my son for several years now (before they had the reinforced knee) and they are great. I like them because they have an elasticized waist but still look dressy. Although he plays hard, the knees or any othe part of the pants never ripped.
Highly recommended.

Sharp Looking and Easy for a Kid to Wear
To be candid, my sons really hate to "dress up," these pants make it easy on them and me because they have a comfortable elastic waist, are made of soft fabric and the fabric is durable enough so the pants keep a nice clean line and press. I really like that I am able to order the length to give these a "tailored" fit. These pants hold up well under my washing and (not so great) ironing skills; if you pull them out of the dryer immediately they are virtually wrinkle free so all I do is put a quick press down the middle and they look fantastic! Highly recommend.

Best Knees I've Found
My 6 year old is extremely hard on the knees of his pants. I bought these for his uniform pants for school. These knees are the best I've found so far. However, I have to say that he still wore through one knee on two out of three pairs of the pants in about 3 1/2 months. However, he did not wear through the "iron knee" portion, only the chino fabric portion, although I won't use them for school now that the fabric is torn. The fit is really good. They are very comfortable for him. He is very slim so they are slightly big in the waist, but still stay up.

God Uniform Pants
These pants are comfortable, fit well, wash and dry easily, and do not wrinkle very much. So far, my son has not worn any holes in the knees. What more could you ask for?

But.....they fit smaller than the climber pants we always order, so we will have to send back and get one size larger.

Bring back the Open Bottom Climber Pants!
My son loved the open bottom climber pants which fit him perfectly. He wears an 18 in those pants, but the same size in these pants did not fit him at all. I am very disappointed that Lands End is discontinuing the open bottom climber pants. I probably won't be buying much from Lands End anymore until they bring those pants back.

Great pants
My son has to wear a uniform for school, these pants are soft and comfy and perfect for school. It's hard to find comfy pants for a 4 year old, these are perfect.

NIce pants, colour is perfect, fit is just a little loose in the waist
I have a hard time finding pants with elastic waist for my special needs son. Try to find pants for a very slim, tall 14 yr old boy! I was very pleased to have found these pants. They're a little loose I thought for a slim fit but not so bad that we couldn't live with the fit. The material is a nice weight, length is perfect, I asked for hem to be almost at max length, there might be a half inch of growing room.
