Boys' Half-zip Fleece 2 5 1 1
Nice-looking, comfortable, but fabric pills badly. I rely on Land's End to find nice-looking classic clothing in extended sizes for my family. I have a son who wears husky sizes and they are nearly impossible to find elsewhere. I wish LE offered more of them. Alas this particular shirt did not live up to the quality expectations I have for LE and I'm going to have to return it. It's a great-looking shirt; nice design, appealing blue marled color, soft fleece lining in collar. I loved it right out of the package. The fit was generous in a husky XL for my son who usually wears husky 18-20 (very hard to find) or has to go to menswear and try to fit a typical men's M (or even L) which is proportioned all wrong for a husky boy. I was pleased with this when my son put it on and wore it to school the first day. But when he came home from school, the front of the shirt was already covered in little pilly balls of fluff! Not a good sign. It's going back and I'll order one of the rugby shirts in sturdy jersey material instead. Nice try LE, but please use better fabric! January 10, 2013
