Nice, could use pockets The shorts are comfortable and well-made. They have an adjustable waist. My son prefers the models with front pockets. This one has a single, tiny pocket in the back. June 24, 2012
very good quality, runs small I guess what I said above.... The shorts are very good quality, but they run a little small. This is somewhat inconvenient whenn sizes jump from 8 to 10, and my son is an 8. If I had gone with the 10 they would have been big, but 8 is just fitting him.... May 12, 2012
These shorts are extremely oversized. Those shorts were purchased for gym class for a 5, soon to be 6 years old. At 47" and 47 lbs, the child fits within the upper range of Medium for Little Kids. However, the shorts were very large with an extra 5" at the waist (the garment measurement at the waist was 25"). A previous reviewer thought the shorts ran small, ours ran very large: it seems there is an issue with quality control at Land's End. Those shorts are going back, and I do not plan and taking my chances on another pair. August 22, 2011
Sturdy, every day summer wear Generous, thick cotton fabric. Wash and wear well. Darker colors fade a bit, and seem to run a tad small. Overall, good quality and very comfortable. July 11, 2011
