Wider than Van's
My son cannot wear Van's shoes at all. Tried several pairs. These LE shoes are not necessarily a wide shoe, but certainly wider than Van's shoes. We're buying an extra pair. Nice price!

Better than Vans
My active 8 year old sons wears these almost every day. Our last pair lasted 8 months, which says a lot for a kid shoe. Durable. Easy to clean. Sharp looking. Doesn't wear down quickly. My only complaint is I wish they would stock more colors and bring back the tie-dye version. Kids love that. His foot measures 3 1/2 so we bought a 4 and they fit well. He has a slightly wide foot and has no problem with comfort or fit.

Great shoe, well made, can withstand lots of playground play!
I bought these shoes for my son as a "fun" pair to wear to school - he absolutely loved them! His foot is a little on the narrow side, but the shoe fit well, lasted nearly the entire school year (he's very hard on his shoes). I would (will) buy these again!
