Great buy!
This jacket was terrific. I purchased this jacket for myself in hopes that I could leave my heavy, bulky coat at home for quick trips out. During yesterday's Nor'easter I ran to the store. The wind was whipping fiercely. I wasn't the least bit chilled. My face and hands were wind whipped but I noticed that my trunk was quite warm. I was wearing a tank top under a long sleeved T. I am usually bundled up because of the NY cold. I love knowing that I can grab this slim jacket for a quick run out and not get cold.

Great buy. Grandson loves the coat. Very warm and protective. Hood fits nicely. It's very boxy for his slim body but that's fine with him. Good for layering. Breaks cold wind and protects from rain & wind. Very pleased with the purchase.

Love these
I have three boys and bought 3 of these. They run true to size to a little bit big (which in our case is perfect). My boys say they are very warm and protect from the wind very well. I like that they are lightweight enough without the bulk of a heavy coat. We live in Chicago wear it can get pretty cold so perfect for about 40 degree weather. Would def recommend!

Great coat for Southern winters!
This is really more of a coat than a hoodie, and it's perfect for my son here in South Georgia where it doesn't get very cold. He had a gray one last year, and I just ordered him the navy blue one for this year and hopefully next year too. My son normally wears husky sizes, but this coat is roomy enough for him to wear comfortably, so they do run big, which is a good thing in our case. I have washed the coat multiple times with no problems, and I just hang dry instead of using the dryer.

My son says coat doesn't bend, feels hard and heavy on body
This coat is fine for those rare days in San Francisco when it gets very cold (for us). But as my son said in the summary above, it feels hard and heavy when he wears it and it doesn't really bend so it's like wearing the lead vest they put on when you have your teeth x-rayed. Was on sale so feel OK about the purchase but if we lived in colder climes, I think I would have returned it since my son would not want to wear it regularly.

Very warm, and cuts the wind nicely.
This coat is more like a coat than a hoodie. Hood fits well. Overall, coat is Very roomy. Material is a bit stiff, and the wrists are really, really tight for my average size son's wrists . It makes it very hard for him to pull the coat off, the sleeves end up inside out. This is pretty disappointing, almost enough to return it. Not sure if this is just a manufacturing flaw or if they are all this way. Love all his Land's End clothes, but this one is not my favorite.

Not Lands End quality
Both sleeves have had the seams come apart. While this can be sewed, it is an inconvenience and reflects poor quality. The sleeves also seem narrow.
