Good value on trousers, though quality has deterioriated
I had originally ordered a pair of these in January, and have been very, very satisfied with that pair. The fit is excellent and the fabric feels like a good quality. I was so happy that I ordered two more pairs this month. I have only received one of the new pairs, but the difference in quality is immediately evident. The new pair feels a little slicker, more lightweight. Just to confirm my initial thought, I weighed both pairs, and indeed the new pair is a little more than 1/2 an ounce lighter (11.6 ounces versus 12.2 for the prior pair). The new pair also has a more snug fit, especially noticeable in the thighs. It is not obscenely tight, but am a little self-conscious. I still feel the new pair is a decent value for the money, but would likely not buy more. Just for further info, both pairs are labeled as having been made in India, so this does not seem to be an issue of changing fabrication locations.

Love the pants once I figured out what size I needed
I'm a fit 5'8" and found the tailored fit Chinos in 33/34 waist and 29" inseam fit me perfectly. I thus ordered the same size in the tailored fit "Yearrounders" dress pants as part of a suit purchase. However, 29" inseam in the tailored Yearounders seems to short and I found the 30-31" is more appropriate since the added material is needed for a better drape. Now that I have the size figured out I am very happy with the fit and look of the pants and matching suit coat (40 short jacket fits me perfectly).

Quality going down
I have ordered several pairs of these pants before, over several years. The latest pair I received shows a definite decline in quality. The material seems lighter, the hemming looks like it was done by a trainee, and the metal tab to close the pants goes in easily enough but is extreemly difficult to get out. None of my previous pants had this problem; it appears that whatever should be holding the slot part of the closure in place is simply not properly affixed to the material, thus allowing it to move when it should stay in place. A minor detail perhaps, but a continuing annoyance.
My prior purchases of these pants were/are wonderful. They've held up very well over the years, but I am not nearly as happy with the pair purchased last month. Perhaps I just got one of the "mistakes happen" pair.

Fit inconsistent with other LE pants
I have 2 pairs of LE flannel tailored fit dress pants that fit beautifully, so I ordered 2 pairs of year rounders in taupe and grey. Even though I ordered the same size, I found the year rounders to be significantly tighter and hemmed too long. They seemed to be of decent quality, but the fit was unacceptable and the pants will be returned.

Poor quality
I bought 3 pair. Buttons have come off all of them. The hem came undone on 2 pair.

Love these pants they are great in Texas. Want all colors back; have 2in family who want the dark chocolate

Great service, great product
Shipment of this order was delayed due to Hurricane Sandy. Lands End kept me updated until the trousers arrived. They are well made, fit well, are light weight but warm enough for chilly (40 deg) weather around here. They are excellent.

Houndstooth sold out!!!!
I have several pairs of year rounders and they are great. I Can't believe that Landsend sold out of the houndstooth so quickly and can't be back ordered??? Way to go! If they decide to get more I'll definitely buy a pair, and apparently many others will also. How about it LE?

Mislabled as to size
The pants were what my husband expected for the price (on sale) but what was an unhappy surprise was when he tried them on they did not fit. Although a 38 waist was ordered (and did show on the pants and packaging), upon measuring, the waist instead was a smidge over 35 inches. Returned to store and it was free shipping but last time any pants are ordered from Lands End. I see from many other reviews that this and many other "quality" issues do not seem to be isolated problem for Lands End. Too bad, they used to be a good company known for their value and reliability.

Excellent quality and fit.
Am very pleased with the fit and the quality of the fabric. Would highly recommend these slacks.
