Our Field Coat is Saturday-morning comfortable in lightweight, 8.5-oz. cotton canvas, built for softness from Day One (but it doesn't look distressed, like many other brands). The patch pockets with handwarmers are roomy enough for a wallet, sunglasses or cell phone, and the warm, 60-gram insulation (under a quilted lining) helps fend off late-fall and early-spring cold.
