Oh, The Horror!
To say the leg openings were constricting would be an understatement. You might as well just tie a couple of turnicuts around the tops of your legs...they might be more flattering.

Wish LE would make a bottom that covers the navel...many of us older women want that covered.
Why is this listed as "high rise"? Product is fine except it needs to cover more. LE made a version last year that came way too high (almost under the bust) I just want a regular bottom that covers everything that underpants would. I like to wear a bathing suit all day while on vacation at the beach and need one that has the ease of removal when it is necessary to use the bathroom but covers my stomach (including my navel).

Almost ideal
Landsend continues to have great swim bottoms for women, and I appreciate it. The only issue I have is the excessive puckering of the material around the edges. It can even be seen if you zoom into the shot of the model from the back. I thought the design was "runched," but it doesn't appear to be deliberate. When wearing it, it is a bit bothersome, because it unnecessarily draws the eye to the area. I hope L.E. can smooth this out in future designs.

Best bottom around.
I have purchased a few of these bottoms. They are not too high and not too low. Just right for a middle-aged woman. They are very comfortable. Sometimes, I find a swim top that I like elsewhere, and then order a Lands End swim bottom to pair with it.

Oversized Waist
Earlier this year I bought a size 10, which fit except that the legs were too snug. Others had mentioned the same problem. I decided to try a size 12 to see who that fit. While the rest of the suit would have made do, the waist was so large that I was afraid if I went in the water, it would not stay on. I normally wear size 10 chinos and have several in my closet. Kind of makes it very difficult to figure what to do. You can't wear a suit bottom that will come off and the next size down squeezes your legs but your legs are fine in all the other clothes this size.

A winner! Great coverage!
I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, usu. size 8/10 in bottoms. I ordered this in 8 and it is the best fitting bottom ever! I think reviewers might be confused with what "high rise" means. It's not like a panty up to your belly button, but this bottom is higher than bikini and about an inch below my belly button. Maybe better called "mid rise," but the fit is great and doesn't sag in the back. A winner!!

Not high rise
I was disappointed with this bottom. I'm only 5'3" so I figured the bottom would come up a little closer to my belly button than in the photo. Wrong! I'm 120 pounds with reasonably flat abs, but people would probably rather not see quite so much of my 51-year-old skin. Also, the leg openings were too tight for me, making the tops of my thighs bulge out. A larger size still won't come up any higher, so I'm returning it. I clicked "no" on "I would recommend this product" because it doesn't meet the claim of being a high-rise bottom. However, if you're okay with revealing a couple of inches below the belly button, and you size up to avoid the bulging, the piece seems to be well made and the fabric is nice and substantial.

Almost ideal
While the matching tunic halter top I ordered with this swimsuit bottom did not work for me, I really liked this item. It has enough coverage without looking matronly, is comfortable, and seems to be of good quality fabric. My only wish is that instead of sitting below the natural waist (as described) it came up higher to the waist.

I ordered the tankini that goes with these in size 6 & bottoms in size 4 & both fit perfectly! Got them in the rose color. Both are of very high quality & should last me a while, Very good prize on these.

Nice fit.
I ordered this bottom in black and orchid. I wear a size 10 pant and this fits true. Great fit; nonbinding at the legs or waist. Doesn't create a tummy roll! Works very well with the tankini tops. Can't speak to how well it holds up, since I've only worn it 3 times--but so far so good. I would order again.
