Best Sheets EVER!! I love these sheets!! My husband and I like crisper sheets, and these are absolutely perfect. They fit on our thick mattress with a memory foam top and a feather bed!! They are a dream come true. They fit snugly, never slip off during the night, and wash very well. I couldn't be more impressed. I believe when it comes to 200 count sheets, you definitely get what you pay for. These are not inexpensive, but on sale they are affordable. I do agree with one of the other reviewers that they certainly aren't wrinkle-free, DON'T leave them in the dryer all day. Take them out right away, and fold them, or put them directly on the bed. These are the highest quality 200 count sheets I've ever felt. I bought two more sets. My parents are into the 600+ count sheets, but when they slept on these sheets, they loved them. May 29, 2012
Not Good! Yes these are crisp, but also a bit scratchy. They come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess - doesn't matter if you use low heat, high heat, perm press, take them out slightly damp - they are not just slightly wrinkled - they are really badly wrinkled. The pintuck detail is beautiful - until you wash and dry it - then it is folded back and uneven all over and just highlights the wrinkles. They are also made in China. I have bought wonderful sheets from Lands End before and for a long time - these are not the wonderful sheets I equate with LE. I would not buy these or recommend them. March 11, 2013
love the feel - wish they were thicker though :) i do love these sheets - my husband is very picky about softness & i am picky about not wanting high thread count as these type are much hotter (more weaves per inch so they don't breathe)...so these are perfect for both of us! i washed them a few times w/fabric softener before we slept on them - they already are so soft i love them...but still crisp cotton with no sheen (don't like that either)...like the little Pintuck embellishment on cases...the only thing is i SO wish that you also offered them in a MUCH thicker version (3 to 4 times thicker) which would make them "crisper" to me & seem much "richer"...i would be willing to pay double the price or more for a heftier set....hope you consider this as an option - more like the "luxury option". :))) September 24, 2012
Sheets Are Coming Apart We absolutely loved these sheets at first. However they do not last. The fitted sheet is tearing in three different places. What happened to the old Lands End sheets that were thicker and better made? That is what we want, not these cheaply made sheets that fall apart. August 14, 2012
Terribly Disappointed I was SO excited when LE described these sheets as the classic, crisp, cool sheets that recall childhood summers. I immediately ordered two full sets, with extra pillow cases. Well, whoever wrote the product description needs to go back to the keyboard. These aren't it. They're paper thin and slippery, just like the higher thread count sheets that I hate. So, back they're going - and at my expense, which is awfully annoying. Like another reviewer stated, I too want sheets "just like Grandma's" . It's getting so difficult to find them that I may have to start searching in European stores. If I find them, I'll pay thru the nose, but will have those nice thick, crisp, substantial sheets that are so great to sleep under. June 18, 2012
Another One Bites the Dust For the 2nd time in 2 years, I've tried to replace my good ole thick, strong and sturdy 100% cotton, wrinkles and all, Lands' End sheets from 2005. Like the last set I ordered, these too are going back still in the package. These sheets are tissue paper thin, so I don't see any kind of future between me and them. I want sheets "just like Grandma's." I am willing to pay for quality, and I am willing to pay for Made in the USA, so PLEASE Lands' End, give me some sheets I can sleep on. June 5, 2012
Wonderful Sheets -- for a while. I wanted to love these sheets, and I did for several months. Incredibly smooth, and the exact cool, non-clingy feeling I was hoping for. A small tear appeared in the fitted sheet after a few months, and now the top sheet is beginning to split in places. Sadly, they're going in the GoodWill bag soon, and my hunt for the perfect percale sheets will have to continue. May 28, 2012
Smooth and substantial --great night's sleep! Enough already with the 600-thread, 800-thread and more. These sheets are a dream to sleep on and under immediately and the buttery color looks like Saturday morning sunshine. Not wrinkle-free, but who cares? They're sheets! I love these. May 12, 2012
Just like Grandma's sheets! Finally, smooth, crisp percale sheets, just like my grandma had! These sheets are hands down the best! Super smooth from the first use. No pilling! We have a deep mattress with a memory foam topper, and they still fit beautifully! I highly recommend these to everyone! April 10, 2012
cloth okay - poorly made pillowcases Poorly made, chinese pillowcases. Best way to iron pillowcases is to turn them inside out. On these the seams don't line up - an indication of poor construction. It should be simple to cut and sew pillowcases, particularly for the $27 premium price. Fabric is nice so give it 2 stars. April 7, 2012
