As chief financial and operating officer, Tim Martin brings a strong record of scaling financial operations through team building, process redesign and performance management to Lands’ End. Martin strives to provide seamless integration across all channels of business including direct, online, retail and global with an eye towards maintaining profitability, brand growth and inventory management. He oversees accounting, financial reporting, legal, information technology, strategic planning and forecasting, treasure and cash management, payroll, and global planning and inventory across all divisions in the United States, Northern and Central Europe, and Japan.

Martin oversees all aspects of financial planning and inventory management for Lands’ End’s global business as the leader of finance and operations. This includes identifying business opportunities, development, general operations and profit and loss management. Martin also guides the decision making on inventory planning including the appropriate quantities of product in warehouses, determining the amount of product to be purchased, the timing of arrival for seasonal merchandise and markdown strategies. With nearly 20 years of domestic and global financial management experience, Martin is skilled at partnering financial operations with business operations to develop highly productive cross-functional alliances.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a member of the senior leadership team and reports to Edgar Huber, the CEO and president of Lands' End.
