We offer a comprehensive benefits program designed to help and support our employees during many different times in their life - such as illness, childbirth and retirement. Our aim is that these programs will provide our employees with financial support and time away from work, enabling them to balance their work and family responsibilities with peace of mind.

Medical Program
Our healthcare plan is one of few remaining self-funded plans in place today. Our plan offers very comprehensive medical coverage and the freedom of choice in medical providers. The 80/20 plan includes day-to-day coverage along with major medical coverage. Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following employment. The weekly cost of this plan can be taken on a pre-tax or after-tax basis.

On-Site Clinic (Dodgeville)

Employees who are covered under the Lands' End Health Care plan can use the clinic for a small out of pocket fee.

 

Kmart Pharmacy Discount

Convenient for you to use and save money on prescription drugs. Pick up of prescription drugs available at our Reedsburg, Dodgeville and Stevens Point locations.

 

Dental Program
Effective the first day of the next month following employment, the weekly cost of this plan can be taken on a pre-tax or after-tax basis.

Vision Plan
Effective the first day of the next month following employment, the weekly cost of this plan can be taken on a pre-tax or after-tax basis.

Retirement Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in the plan at the end of the calendar quarter following their hire date if they are at least 19 years of age. This plan offers immediate rollovers from other qualified plans and 100% vesting.

401K - Employees can contribute and save up to 75% of their base pay on a pretax basis. After one year of service, the company matches 50 cents for every $1 saved, up to 6%, if the employee has worked a minimum of 1,000 hours over the calendar year.

Profit Sharing - Employees are eligible to participate after one year of service. Company contribution is based on company profits. 100% vested at the time of contribution.

Sears Holdings Associate Stock Purchase Plan

The Sears Holdings Associate Stock Purchases Plan gives employees an opportunity to become a stockholder of Sears Holdings at a discount not available to the general public.

 

Annual Incentive Plan
Positions at Lands' End are assigned a bonus target percentage. Payout of the target is based on the company's performance against performance goals established each year by our board of directors.

Life Insurance
Fully provided by Lands' End. This benefit is two times the sum of a person's salary, including 50% of their annual incentive plan target.

Voluntary Life Insurance
To supplement the coverage provided by Lands' End, employees may purchase optional term life insurance for themselves, their spouse and dependents.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can use pretax dollars to pay for certain medical or dependent care expenses.

Group Legal
A legal service for you, your spouse and dependents. Receive legal advice and fully covered legal services for a wide range of legal matters. No deductible, co-payments, waiting periods, claim forms or limits on usage.

Disability
Two plans provide short- and long-term coverage. Coverage is fully provided by Lands' End.

Employee Merchandise Discount
Employees can purchase Lands' End products for themselves, their spouses and dependent children at about 10% over cost. Employees also receive an additional 10% off purchases made at any of our outlet stores.

Retiree Program
Employees are eligible at age 60 or older, with 10 years of regular service at the time of retirement. Retiree health care offered to employees ages 60-64, as well as eligibility for ongoing use of employment discount, Comer Center and company events.

Activity Center
Employees, their spouses and dependent children can use this state-of-the-art facility. It includes basketball and racquetball courts, a 25 meter indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, an 1/8 mile indoor track, free weights and machines, and plenty of cardio equipment to use while viewing a television program or listening to the radio with our cardio-theatre. We also have an aerobics room that offers classes ranging from yoga to cardio kickboxing. For the competitive types, we offer a variety of intramural sports including basketball, soccer and volleyball (sand volleyball in the summer). Finally, we have an on-site health and fitness staff who educate our employees on a variety of topics, along with providing fitness assessments and personal training.

Vacation/Holiday Time Off
Work/Life flexibility is important. To help sustain that balance, employees are able to use vacation and holiday time based on established schedule.
Back-up Child Care
We have a center on-site designed to provide back-up care when our employees' normal arrangements fall through. It is available for children ages 6 weeks to age 12.

Referral Bonus
Holiday season - Refer someone to work our Christmas holiday season and you will receive a $50 referral for your first referral, $75 for your second and $100 for each referral after that, if that person stays through the holiday season. Your name will also be entered into drawings for additional prizes.

Regular referrals - If you refer someone for a regular full-time hourly or salaried position, you may be eligible for between $250 and $2,000 for your referral, depending on position.

Educational Assistance
Employees are eligible for up to $3,000 per year for job-related education and $5,000 for graduate level courses.

Relocation Assistance
Relocation assistance is available to any employee whose new work location is at least 50 miles away from their current residence.

Adoption Assistance
Employees receive up to $4,000 reimbursement for select costs, along with one week of paid time off.

Leaves of Absence
Leaves of absence for military, medical or personal reasons.

Discount Tickets
Special discounts for amusement parks, water parks, movie theatres and more are available to our employees.

Annual Company Picnic
An opportunity to meet fellow coworkers, this event attracts over 5,000 employees and their families. Games, prizes, rides, music, great food, and great camaraderie are all things our employees enjoy at this picnic, held in August each year.
