How to Tie
a Tie
|

The Bow Tie |
 |
- Start with the tie end
in your left hand. Extend the tie about 1 inch/2,5 cm below the end
of your right hand.
- Cross the longer end of
the tie over the shorter, and pass it through the loop.
- Form the front loop of
the bow by doubling up the shorter end (the one hanging).
- Hold this front loop with
your thumb and forefinger of the left hand. Drop the long end down over
the front.
- Place your forefinger,
pointing up, on the bottom half of the hanging part. Pass this half
up behind the front loop.
- Poke the resulting loop
though the knot behind the front loop. Even out the ends and tighten.

and turn down through loop.
- Pass the wide end around
to the front from your left to right.
- Bring the wide end up through
the loop.
- Pull the wide end through
