The National Retail Federation has recognized Lands’ End as one of the top ten retailers for customer service for six consecutive years‚ starting in 2006.
For the second year in a row‚ Lands’ End earned a Platinum rating from Caterpillar Inc.’s Licensee Excellence Recognition Program. The construction equipment manufacturer recognized only ten companies in 2012.
In 2010‚ Lands’ End received the President’s Award from the International Customer Service Association.
Business Week has recognized the company for great service‚ naming it a “Customer Service Champ” in 2008.
Internet Retailer named Lands’ End one of the Hot 100 E-Retailers of 2012.
In 2011‚ the company made Stores magazine’s list of 50 Favorite Online Retailers.
Lands’ End was one of only nine retailers to meet the standards of E-Tailing Group’s 2009 Mystery Shopping Study‚ which surveyed 100 top online retailers. Their criteria included correctly and adequately answering a customer service email within 24 hours‚ checking out in six or fewer clicks‚ and prompt order and shipping confirmations via email.
For the last four years Lands’ End received the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s Green Masters Award. The Green Masters Program is an objective‚ points-based recognition program that enables Wisconsin businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to understand what needs to be done to justifiably claim that they are “on the road to sustainability.” Developed by the WI Sustainable Business Council and Wisconsin businesses – in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin – the Green Masters Program helps to recognize Wisconsin’s sustainability leaders and encourages continuous improvement.
Also in 2011‚ Lands’ End was among five companies to receive “All-Star” recognition by Apparel magazine. Winners were chosen for demonstrating a commitment toward making their businesses more sustainable in specific ways and having a plan to continue down that path.
Regarding facility maintenance‚ five Lands’ End buildings have been designated ENERGY STAR facilities by the Environmental Protection Agency. These facilities meet strict standards and use less energy‚ are less expensive and cause fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
In 2009‚ an addition to the Lands’ End United Kingdom warehouse became BREEAM certified (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
The Lands’ End Big Warm-Up‚ a nationwide fundraiser to deliver coats to homeless men‚ women and children‚ garnered a “Do Good Stamp” award from the Ladies’ Home Journal.
In 2012‚ Lands’ End Europe earned its fourth Best Companies Accreditation “Ones to Watch” Award in a row. Lands’ End UK was similarly honored‚ marking its sixth consecutive win.
Lands’ End UK met the UK’s Investors in People standard for the eleventh time in 2012‚ and received the “Double Tick” award in recognition of the recruitment of people with disabilities.
In 2012‚ Lands’ End Germany was named a Best Employer by the Great Place to Work® Institute‚ their eighth consecutive honor‚ which earned the office a Trust Champion Award in Gold. They also received the 2010 Integrations Prize for their extraordinary integration of disabled employees.
Lands’ End Japan received the Yokohama Good Balance Award in 2011 and 2010.
The American Heart Association granted Lands’ End a Platinum Level Fit-Friendly Company designation in 2010‚ the highest honor for this award.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune named Lands’ End Inlet stores a Top Workplace in 2010.
Lands’ End received the Gold Quill Award in 2010‚ recognizing the company for outstanding achievement in business communication.
In 2010‚ Lands’ End was named Employer of the Year by the Reedsburg Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
