How to Measure
- WAIST
- Measure around your natural waist (bend sideways – the crease is it) Recommendation: keep one finger between the tape and your body.
- HIPS
- Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
- RISE
- Hold the tape at the center back of your waist. Run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch, and up to your natural waist in front. The total measurement is your rise.
- INSEAM
- Select a pair of your best-fitting pants of a similar material. Lay the pants flat and measure from the center of the crotch to the bottom of one leg. The number of inches, to the nearest half-inch, is the inseam length.
- HEIGHT
- Stand in stocking feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the floor to the top of your head. Your height will determine whether you are PETITE, REGULAR or TALL.
- REGULAR, PETITE, TALL OR 16W-26W
-
- Regular- 5'4" - 5'7" tall, with hips slightly larger than bust.
- Petite- 4'11" - 5'3" tall, proportioned smaller, scaled down in shoulder width and sleeve length.
- Tall- 5'8" - 6'0" tall, accomodates long body torso and sleeve lengths.
- 16W-26W- 5'4" - 5'7" tall, proportioned to flatter full-figured women. Compared to our size 16, size 16W is 2 1⁄2" larger in the waist and 1 1⁄2" larger in the hip.

- We will be pleased to cuff or hem your trousers and pants FREE OF CHARGE. Please keep in mind these guidelines:
-
- If you do not specify a cuffing or hemming length, your pants will be delivered unfinished. Please allow 1-2 days additional processing time for hemming and cuffing.
- Remember to allow an extra 1⁄2 inch (1 1⁄2 cm) for shrinkage in 100% cotton items.
- Some jeans and corduroy trousers can be hemmed but not cuffed.
- As indicated in the charts, the maximum inseam for cuffed pants is 2 inches less than the maximum for straight hemmed (“uncuffed”) pants. This is because creating a cuff requires 2 inches of fabric.
